The Wavoo SAR Educational Trust has been rendering a yeoman service to the people of the locality through its consistent involvement in various social, educational and religious activities in order to contribute and connect to the society through lofty ideals of Humanity which are a great source of inspiration. The trust has the rare distinction of having been able to manage several developmental activities through meticulous planning and effective execution. The college and its vision
Wavoo Wajeeha Women’s College, founded in the year 2006 by Alhaj. Wavoo.S.Seyed Abdur Rahman under Wavoo SAR Educational Trust is dedicated to the development of women in rural area and more specifically of the Muslim women, through providing them with a kind of education which helps them become morally upright, culturally enriched , socially responsible, intellectually sound and technically competent. This process is expected to bring in new meaning to the lives of the women, new dimension to the values of education and new direction to the journey of life.
Locality
The college is majestically located in an impressive landscape of five acres of land, which offers an ideal environment for learning, just a couple of kilometers away from Kayalpatnam. The rich cultural diversity which serves as a background to the college include the city of historical Mosques and Monuments of Kayalpatnam, the modest town which prides itself for being the host to the internationally renowned St.Thomas Church, Veerapandianpatnam and the Temple City, Tiruchendur. Because of the strategic location of the college, it has become a place for the celebration of cultural and social plurality. The aesthetically designed structure of the college is a faithful reflection of the imagination of our founder who has long cherished the idea of a unique college in our area.
