HuaRongDao
Historical Background
The name Huarong Dao originates from a historical story during the Three Kingdoms period. After Cao Cao's disastrous defeat in the Battle of Red Cliffs, he was forced to flee towards Huarong Dao, where he encountered an ambush led by Guan Yu. Out of respect for their past relationship, Guan Yu spared Cao Cao. The game draws its inspiration from this story, with players needing to move the game pieces to help Cao Cao escape from the starting position to the exit at the bottom of the board.
Game Rules
Huarong Dao consists of a square game board and several rectangular blocks of different sizes, typically including a larger target block (representing Cao Cao) and other auxiliary blocks. The objective of the game is to slide the blocks to move the target block to the exit at the bottom of the board. Players must move each piece logically without crossing over other blocks, aiming to complete the challenge in the fewest moves possible.
