This year’s conference comes at a pivotal moment for the global spice industry as we witness a resurgence in prices, fueled not only by growing consumer demand but by the reduction of global spice production and also the return of speculative interest. In 2024, black pepper reached historic heights, entering the billion-dollar export club in Vietnam, a milestone for growers and traders alike.
