NSFE : Government of Malaysia

National Scientific Facilities & Equipment (NSFE) provides Information on scientific facilities and equipment in Malaysia that are ready to be shared with users. This equipment is owned by government departments and agencies, government research institutions and public institutions of higher learning. The sharing of scientific facilities and equipment for this initiative refers to the following scope and definitions:

i. The scope of sharing of scientific facilities and equipment includes equipment rental, R&D collaboration, implementation of sample analysis services, technical advisory services offerings and sharing of analytical data;

ii. The definition of STI facility refers to the place or space where research activities are carried out such as research laboratories, monitoring centers and testing places that house scientific equipment; and

iii. The definition of scientific equipment refers to all equipment used for research, monitoring, testing and learning purposes worth more than RM100,000.00 and above.
